You’re Invited:
The word vital is defined as “of the utmost importance, fundamentally concerned with or
affecting life or living beings.” As applied to the ministry of Sunday School, the definition fits
perfectly. Sunday School is of the utmost importance to the church today, and it is focused on
affecting the life of its members for Christ. Bible class or “Sunday School” continues to be a
strong foundational approach for making disciples. Good, solid Bible classes are needed today
because it creates a place for several crucial things to happen that are important in the process
of making disciples. However, this cannot take place without you, the teachers. Here at Foote
Street we have such an amazing Children’s Sunday School program as well as an active adult
Bible School program. A big reason for that is because of our wonderful teachers we have that
dedicate themselves to studying God’s Word and relaying that to our members. We want to
thank you for the time you have spent in preparation for teaching, but we also want to take the
opportunity to grow as teachers.

On Saturday, we would like to invite you to join us at 8:30 am for our Bible Teacher
Workshop. This workshop will be so beneficial for teachers on every level and we want you to
be there to benefit from it as a teacher and for the benefit of the church. Please sign up on the
